Grant Thomson
Grant is the founder and executive chairman of the DataCol Group.
His strong entrepreneurial skills led him to found the business
in 1999 and under his stewardship he has expanded, transformed
and diversified the business.
He has the strong ability to identify, recruit and lead good
people.
This strength has enabled him to focus on and position the business
for
growth. Grant possesses the innate ability to identify and act
upon opportunities in the market.

Jason K Rogers
Jason is Group Managing Director and is leading the growth
of the DataCol Group. He has helped to successfully reposition
the business
from an entrepreneurial to more mature organization with five
businesses now in the portfolio.
Jason has a background in private company management, private
equity, investment banking and property, in the New Zealand,
Australian, European and North American markets. He has over
10 years experience in a variety of industry sectors. |
He has been involved in a number of successful businesses and transactions
with experience in launching, building and operating businesses in
a wide variety of industries around the World. Jason has strength
in bringing the right people together to build businesses.
He is currently Chairman of Auckland security company Matrix Security
Group. Matrix is an Auckland based integrated security services provider
which has an alarm installation, alarm monitoring, guard and patrol
services business.
He also holds directorships with Whakaue Holdings and Ngati Whakaue
Tribal Lands ("NWTL"). Ngati Whakaue, along with two
sister trusts, manage $150 million in assets. Whakaue Holdings manages
the commercial and investment lands for NWTL.
Prior to 2003, Jason worked for Sir John Beckwith's CBE London based
private investment vehicle Pacific Investments plc. Sir John Beckwith
is one of the UK's most successful entrepreneurs. Jason was a director
of corporate finance. The private equity team managed £120
million. While with Pacific he was involved with a number of acquisitions,
capital raisings, stock exchange listings and was involved in businesses
across a number of different sectors - including leisure, hotels,
education, industrial warehousing, media, technology, sports and
healthcare.
Jason started his career in 1993 with Ernst & Young ("EY")
and became a member of ICANZ in 1996. While with EY he worked in
their Auckland, San Francisco and London offices. He was with EY
for six years, followed by one year as an Associate with Bankers
Trust in 1998, the Investment Bank, in their London and Melbourne
offices. While with Bankers Trust he worked in their securitisation,
high yield debt and structured finance teams.

John O'hara
John O'Hara is an independent director of the DataCol group
and a Palo Alto principal. He has over 20 years experience
successfully growing IT businesses and taking them offshore.
John
has extensive experience in the United States, Canada and
United Kingdom markets, with a particular emphasis on developing
joint
venture businesses
and technology licensing programs to achieve high growth. |

John's vertical market experience includes Energy,
Pharmaceuticals, Telecom, Forestry, Hospitality and Electronic Manufacturing.
In terms of some of John's notable achievements:
- In 1995 he established Voyager which was New Zealand's
42nd Internet Service Provider. Twelve weeks after launch it was
the largest in New Zealand, before Telecom launched Xtra. The
business
was listed
in 1997 on the US Nasdaq market as a part of OzEmail.
- In
1996 he was appointed chief executive of a small electricity
software company WEL Technology for WEL Energy. He led
the growth
of the business over a three year period where the business was
subsequently sold to Spectrum listed on the NZ Stock Exchange.
John completed
several software licensing agreements such as Lucent in the US.
He also established a joint venture company in Canada that was
very
successful and remains in operation today.
- In 1998 John established
a joint venture company in the UK for Heathsoft, a leading pharmacy
software company based in New Zealand.
- In 2002, John joined the
board of Gen-i to assist in grooming the business for sale. The
business was sold in 2004 to Telecom.
During his time with Gen-i he resolved a number of critical issues
for the business.

Dean Johnson
Dean is the DataCol Group Chief Financial Officer and has
over 20 years experience in corporate finance roles, across
a wide range of industries in New Zealand, Australia and the
United Kingdom.
Dean has a track record of developing high performing finance
and administration teams, turning around under-performing teams
and introducing good governance and best practice. He has experience
in capital raising, mergers and acquisitions and trade sales.

includes IT, Telecommunications, Energy, FMCG, Consumer Retail,
Finance, Entertainment, Hospitality and Property.
Dean provides strong financial and strategic management to
